Well said, man. I think it’s a bit of a dark take and a bit too pessimistic, but well written and very good points. There’s always a lot of reason to be optimistic, though. Self-publishing has created so many new avenues for writers. It’s harder to monetize, though it is possible. All about finding an audience of people who will support you no matter what. Easier said than done, but achievable.
