Catherine Faure Her quote was actually referencing an academic study from UCLA that I found fascinating. I agree with you and I’ve written extensively on limiting beliefs. I think it’s possible that it’s not just one thing — it’s multiple things. I do have a lot of belief in the short-term reward meaning more to people than long-term reward. It’s not easy to invest time and work when we don’t see immediate or even short-term results that can only be won over time. I really enjoyed reading what you wrote. In conclusion, my thought is that not all of it comes down to limiting beliefs — but they absolutely factor in.
